Alternative Blues/Rock and Soul/Folk

San Francisco based Singer/Songwriter, Terry Van Zandt, explores Rock/Blues and Soul/Folk with his quirky wit, vocals and an instrument he calls the guitar.

Currently Van Zandt is enjoying the buzz generated by his sixth release on Sllabfoog Records, The Buffalo Session Singles. The disc features a new line-up of ace musicans in his back-up band: The Keys (To The Universe). It's available through CD Baby.com, finer record stores and many digital distribution sources, including I Tunes.

The Buffalo Singles Session

This is Terry's latest group. Johnny Falko on Electric Guitar, Mark Macario - Drums, Roger Strobel on Bass.

The idea for this session was to get a solid version of Going Back to Buffalo as a gift for the folks at W.K.B.W.'s, Off Beat Cinema.

Van Zandt performed live on the T.V. show in segments between the presentation of Ed Wood'sPlan Nine From Outer Space.

The band laid down the, "Buffalo", tracks in a flash. Engineer, Eric Steele, suggested T.V.Z. and the Keys (To the Universe) keep keeping on. This is the result. The main critique of this project is that the fans want MORE

MORE is the title of the next release from Terry Van Zandt on Sllabfoog Records.

This solo production includes fourteen original compositions recorded in one eight hour session, on a hot October night in 2002. It's a retro sort of Sixties type Rock/Blues/Folk Singer type deal featuring Van Zandt's voice and acoustic guitar only. Almost all the selections are first takes—Live in a San Francisco studio.
